Love this beautiful cream silk blouse from the great Yves Saint Laurent. It is really quite fabulous and a little more elaborate the most of the pieces from this era. It has an almost swashbuckling feel to it with its ruffles front and sleeves that are caught up in elastics and ruffles at each elbow and wrist. It has that classic YSL tie at the neck. The sleeves puff out above the elbows and cuffs and as it nears the waist it widens and is finished there with a ruffle detailing as well. I love the dot print worked into the silk itself and it is a gorgeous light weight, fine grade silk. Excellent condition!

The top is unlined and closes with buttons down the front. Each sleeve has elastic at the elbow and cuff. The ties are attached at the front. Tagged a vintage YSL 42
