ABOUT THE ARIZONA HANDCRAFTED DYE TECNIQUE
The fabric is first creased tightly into a long line and secured with elastic bands in several places.

It is then placed on a grate where a sponge soaked in dye is dabbed onto the fabric. 

The areas held by the elastic bands resist the dye, creating lighter sections, while the rest of the fabric develops varying colour nuances. 

Finally, the elastics are removed to reveal the unique tie-dye pattern.

All our dyes are made by hand in our Bali dye house by local artisans. Using only the human eye as a guide, every piece is unique and makes your new style a one of kind product. Strong craftsmanship is key and reflect not only a long history of skill but also a true working relationship based on mutual respect and creativity.
