By THE ASSEMBLY LINE, Almost Long Trousers is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: Almost long trousers pattern can really change style depending on fabric choice - from office cool to loungewear. These pants have a relaxed fit, positioned at the lower waist, and dropped crotch. The leg tapers to the ankle, waistband and bottom cuffs are elasticated. The trousers feature in-seam pockets.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes XS-L or XL-3XL.  Use your (lower) waist and seat measurement for sizing. You can easily shorten or lengthen the pattern, make the adjustment at knee height. If you wish to adjust the relaxed waist you can choose to add more or less elastic tape. Just remember that the waist has to be wide enough to be pulled over your seat when putting the trousers on. Sizing information can be found here.

Model is 170 cm tall and wearing a size S.

Fabric Suggestions:  Suggested fabrics are mid to heavyweight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, Tencel twill, lightweight canvas. Almost long trousers are sewn in a cotton plain weave.

Fabric requirements: XS 1.3 m / S 1.4 m / M 1.5 m / L 1.6 m / XL 1.9 m / 2XL 2.0 m / 3XL 2.1 m

Trims required: Matching thread, elastic tape width 50 mm, XS 1.4 m / S 1.6 m / M 1.7 m / L 1.9 m / XL 2.0 m / 2XL 2.1 m / 3XL 2.3 m and 20cm interfacing.

Skill Level: Suitable for a beginner skill level.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern. 

The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction.
