Pankhuri is a timeless handwoven art from Venkatagiri in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The History of this saree dates back to early 1700s during the rule of Venkatagiri dynasty and hence the name. It is soft, light weight, very easy to drape and comfortable to wear.
Technique - Wrap and weft method of weaving.
Speciality - Venkatagiri sarees are favorite amoung royals due to intricately woven zari border and pallu.
The saree comes with its own running blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purpose only.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But this is the charm of owning a pure handwoven beauty.
