Really lovely late 1950's early 60's bag with beautiful hand crafted needlepoint design on the front of the bag depicting a floral motif with beautiful butterflies. Wicker outer body of the bag. Nice brass trims, leather handles and undertrim. The bag is fully lined in a cotton geometric print fabric and has inner pocket and compartments. The bag has it's original label intact: Fomerz quality, made in Hong kong.

Excellent condition - All wicker intact and good order. Does has a few scuffs to the leather handles. A few surface marks on outer needlepoint on the mesh backing, one leather trim at the undeside slight tear.not visible as on underside  inside zip on compartment missing teeth and not able to zip all inner compartments. In good order. The needlepoint is still beautiful and vibrant in colour, noted few age related flaws that add to the bags overall character and heritage but do not detract from it's overall beauty and use.
