My client bought this dress from an estate in Palm Beach many years ago and the woman was apparently quite fabulous and a world traveler. She had exceptional taste and this dress proves it! I love the bold graphic print. It really elevates the simple cut into something special. The cut is so simple - a sleeveless shift widens as it nears the hem leaving the body loose and easy. It has a long, fringe edged scarf with hand knotted fringing. There is lots of hand finishes to the pieces and it was stored wonderfully so looks shockingly new. Really an exceptional early piece and I think it is very special! Excellent, appears unworn condition.

Unlined and slips on with fabric covered buttons and fabric loops at each shoulder. Hand finished seams on both the dress and matching shawl/scarf. Pinked edged seams. Loose fit through the body but small through the bust.

Note that this has a tie belt not picture made of the same fabric.
