The '1789' Small is a compact crossbody in Parise's signature handwoven bovine leather, made on 18th-century wooden treadle looms — the same technique used across all Parise bags. The name references the year the loom was invented. In this smaller format, the weave is just as precise, the leather just as soft.

It closes with a zip and opens to a cotton-lined interior with an internal zipped pocket. The adjustable leather shoulder strap is removable, allowing it to be carried as a clutch for evenings.
