This dramatic evening dress was designed by occasion wear designer Joan Leslie in the late 1980s or early 1990s. It offers a highly wearable take on the theatricality of 1980s design - note the voluminous puff-sleeves and large bow at the chest, trimmed with glittering rhinestones at the centre. The dress is tailored to an A-line silhouette, fitted at the waist and flaring out towards the floor. The bust of the dress is fully lined in black satin and the full-skirt is lined with black tulle, creating a dramatic shape that swirls around the wearer as they walk.

The dress is in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note and looks barely worn. Made in the USA, it is labelled a size US 6, UK 10 and we think fairly true to size but please check the below measurements carefully. The fabric is 100% Polyester with a lining of 100% Acetate. The fabric has no stretch.
