This breathtaking 1930s silk bridal slip dress is a rare and romantic piece of vintage loungewear, lovingly restored to shine once more. The original seams on the back had come undone with time, so I restitched them by hand and finished the repair with divine vintage trims — both for reinforcement and for beauty. A thoughtful restoration that blends seamlessly with the gown’s original charm, bringing this treasure gracefully back to life.

Originally intended as bridal loungewear, today this gown makes a perfect summer dress — elegant, breathable, and effortlessly special.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:

• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).

• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.

• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
