デッドストックから、数回洗って固さが取れ、肌に馴染んできたコンディションをイメージした加工を施し、自然な色落ちと履き心地の良さを追求した。
「白耳」のセルヴィッジデニム生地になっており、ベルト裏など各所に白耳を利用している。1940年代になると武骨な鉄製のボタンから装飾性のあるスナップボタンを使用するなどディティールに変化がみられるようになる。そのころに多用されたアールデコ調のボタンやリベットを研究し、オリジナルカラーにして再現した。シグニチャーの革パッチは奄美大島で泥染めを施した。
