The Wild Alcove Randi Blue Dress is built on extraordinary contrast. Skirt, puffed sleeves and chest are cut from the finest micro blue and white vichy satin cotton. This high quality fabric has a subtle, refined sheen that catches the light with every movement. Against this delicate ground, the collar and waist sash are cut from a richly coloured floral print of rare depth: deep navy scattered with purple daisies, blue cornflowers, lush green leaves and touches of gold, the whole composition carrying an almost Japanese botanical intensity. 

The sash encircles the waist and ties at the back in a generous butterfly wing bow. Its buttons self-covered in the same dramatic print for a finish of rare precision. On the chest, hand-embroidered climbing flowers adorned with subtle pearls at their centers and finished with rickrack trim create a garden scene of pure enchantment.

A little word from our designer :

At the far edge of every well-kept garden, past the clipped hedges and the gravel path, lies a secret place known by the fairies only. Here the flowers grow in their own counsel, lush and wonderfully untamed, pressing close in a riot of colour that needs no tending. This dress carries that same wild beauty: its bodice is adorned with a belt blooming with the depth and drama of a magical nook, while the skirt opens wide into light, as though stepping out into the open air.
