The FAD and SRD Documents Box must be UL Listed and fabricated from 18-gauge cold-rolled steel. It will feature a durable powder-coated finish. The cover will be permanently marked with 1-inch high lettering reading either “FIRE ALARM DOCUMENTS” or “SYSTEM RECORD DOCUMENTS” in white, indelible ink. The access door will be secured by a 3/4-inch barrel lock and equipped with a lift-away hinge. Digital storage models will include at least an 8-gigabyte flash memory drive, featuring a sliding tab that enables the user to choose between USB-C and Micro USB connectors for data transfer. The enclosure will be designed with four mounting holes. The interior will fit standard 8.5” x 11” manuals, three-ring binders, and document records. Additionally, the enclosure will offer two key ring holders and a designated area for mounting standard business cards for key contact personnel.
