Santiago Atitlan Woman's Huipil --- Hand embroidered Birds and flowers around the neck of this Santiago Atitlan Huipil. Lavendar base material hand-woven on backstrap loom with darker purple vertical stripes. Sides seams are closed with pleats that make illusion of "sleeves".  Bottom panels have short fringe.  Nicely finished neck line and arm holes.  Arm holes have embroidered flowers decorating them.

Purchased from Dolores in 2017.  Her work.  

Condition:  Good used condition.  The huipil shows light wear, a few loose threads and light spotting.
