Description :

Clay brown and black colour handwoven sambalpuri cotton ikat saree from the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. The pattern for this saree evolves through a process of dyeing the warp and weft threads prior to inter-weaving. This technique of ikat weaving on a traditional handloom is a beautiful art of poetry on the loom. This saree is woven with geometrical motifs on body and pallu. Rudraksha dobby motifs are woven on the border of the saree.
