Parisian high fashion Luneville embroiderer Elen Toussaint has always been fascinated by the artisan techniques of haute couture which have been an endless source of inspiration. She has mastered the know how while working in the textile embellishment for Paris´ fashion houses and trained in high fashion at Chanel Atelier Lesage in Paris, where she refined her eye for detail and luxury. Years designing embellishment for different Paris´ luxury brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton enabled her to understand couture standards of quality and finish and also compelled to experiment with mixing unusual beading and embroidery techniques. She is currently working as a freelance artist at the Dior Atelier in Paris.
