This one-piece bubble romper is constructed from lightweight cotton in horizontal pink and white stripes. The bodice features an exquisite hand-smocked chest panel that runs across the width of the garment. Pink and mint greens thread forms embroidered roses above wave rows. Bias cut piping created a sophisticated finishing.

The round neckline is finished with a narrow stand up ruffle in matching striped fabric which gently highlights babies’ neck. Short puffed sleeves are set into the armholes with soft gathering and embroidery at the cap. 

The body of the romper is cut generously to allow for movement and diaper changes. At the leg openings, gathering creates the traditional bubble silhouette, with the fabric blooming outward before cinching gently at the thigh. The back closes with four mother of pearl buttons running vertically down the center. A sash creates a refined butterfly wing shaped bow in the back whilst allowing a well adjusted waist.
