Chajul Woman's Huipil ---   Double headed horse serpents and birds in the geometric design with bright colors on this brocaded woman's huipil. Back-strap loomed, 2-panel construction with light aquamarine green background (not sure if cotton or acrylic thread in base material) . Has some "brillante"  or sparkling thread in the embroidery thread.

Condition: Fairly good used condition with a some loose threads, spotting and wear. Some looseness of weave near a few stress points.  Selvages on two panels somewhat uneven lengths. Two panel selvages have been reinforced with threads.   Side seams are sewn closed.
