The ‘CARAMEL’ Dress was the first dress I designed for this collection. The corset on top was originally a sample, while the crochet part was a delicate bandana made from leftover material from a previous design. I felt a deep sense of purpose as I put these pieces together, realizing that they deserved a new life in this dress. The silky caramel fabric was a leftover from a previous design, and assembling these different materials gave the dress a sense of value and purpose. It was a momentous occasion that marked the beginning of my upcycling collection. This experience inspired me to continue creating and exploring new ways to repurpose materials.
