From the Titanic era, right around 1910 to 1912, a late Edwardian dress of fine white cotton lawn, with all the typical touches you'd expect:
Labels: none - there's no telling if this one was home sewn or commercially made, as all clothing was made with care, and intended to last, in the days long before fast fashion
Fiber/Care: all cotton / we suggest machine washing in a net bag, using gentle (no-dye/no-perfume) detergent if you have a machine without an agitator (if not, use your bathtub and be careful), flat dry, then steam or cool iron. Dry-cleaning weakens fibers and should be avoided when possible.
Condition: This antique dress is in strong, wearable (with care, of course!) condition, and presents beautifully, but as might be expected with a dress that's 125 years old, it does have some teensy holes here and there, and a few typical spots (they may lift with targeted treatment, but are so inconspicuous we felt it wasn't worth the risk).
* This authentic Edwardian lawn dress is freshly laundered and ready to wear. *
