These vintage gemstones are from an 82 carat mixed lot of genuine sapphires! This is a rare and exciting find indeed. After countless hours I have begun sorting, testing, grading and now finally have begun to make them available to you!

Clarity Grading Scale:

• Type 1 stones - These stones will generally be "eye-clean," meaning that they have no inclusions visible to the naked eye. This makes for the most sparkly gemstone!
  
  
• Type 2 stones - These typically show some inclusions visible to the naked eye. However, they don't detract from the overall beauty of the gemstone. This type allows you to easily see its natural beauty while still reflecting plenty of light.
  
  
• Type 3 stones - These gemstones will almost always have inclusions, and they will always be visible to the naked eye; giving that natural inner galaxy look!

Disclaimer: Given the sapphires were stored together for over 40 years, you can expect a possibility of some light surface level scratching. They are also earth mined so you can expect less laser precise cuts than you would see in lab gemstones. I will do my best to list any condition notes I discover. Most common surface scratching can easily be removed by a local jeweler as desired. Any easy to see imperfections or scratches will be noted!
