The mystery only adds to the appeal of this striking black coat. Acquired from the wardrobe of a stylish grandmother whose clothing eventually made its way to Roya through a longtime Odeon regular, it is a masterclass in understated drama. The silhouette is beautifully sculpted—fitted through the waist before flaring gently toward the hem—with an exaggerated shawl collar and rows of glittering jet-like buttons (also at the sleeve) that catch the light unexpectedly against the matte black wool. "It's really nice," Roya says. "It has beautiful buttons—and it's in great condition."
