Pieces from the twenties have their own unique specialness and this little dress that can also double as a light evening coat is no exception. It was surely hand made and has some quirks that go along with that, but is so charming that I can't help but love it more for that fact. Made of a sleek seal finish silk velvet, it has a simple cut with full shoulders and sleeves that narrow as they reach their cuffs. The collar is neat and simple and I love the painted off-white zipper that creates a graphic line up the center of the dress. The little bell shaped zipper pull is just charming as well. An attached tie creates shape at the waist and it has a early plastic cinch belt buckle. This is where it gets quirky - unless left loose and low it sort of sits off side. This could be corrected but I sort of love it like this so its been left as found! Excellent condition

Unlined and closes with the hand painted front zipper.
