This is the sweatshirt of my childhood. My mother wore a very similar piece all the time - it was her favourite casual at-home piece for cool mornings or running errands. The perfect amount of boxy and oversized, with a mock neck half zip detail and (my favourite part) no ribbing on the bottom hem.

When thinking of staple pieces that I wanted in my wardrobe, I couldn't ignore this iconic style that lived in my memory. After searching for something similar for years, I finally re-created it myself. And of course, had to name it after my mom - who wore it best!
