A stunning kimono with a striking metallic print on a beautiful deep purple wine silk. The combination of the gold and copper hand painted dots design on the deep merlot backdrop makes for a stunning combination. The design covers the entire kimono, running down each sleeve and across the front, back and interior. Inside you get a delightful surprise - the upper half of the interior has a white silk inset with little rounded figures cavorting over its surface and these are also hand painted. The work is very fine inside and out, and is just so unusual with that interior silk done that way. You can wrap these and belt them so that you are able to wear it as a mini  dress or tunic, or use it as a light evening coat. They really are versatile and a great way to work a bit of vintage into your wardrobe. Excellent condition

Partially lined in a white, hand painted silk through the upper half and inside of the sleeves. Hand stitching finishes. Silk exterior and scarf weight silk lining. The kimono cut will allow this to fit a variety of sizes but please check the measurements below to be sure.
