From Franco Moschino’s Spring 1994 collection (his last one), this maxi-length double-breasted jacket reinterprets classic tailoring with wit. Cut in a slightly fitted yet oversized silhouette, it features silver pinstripes on a navy base, contrasted by a cream collar and structured shoulders. Flap pockets and a fully lined construction ground the piece in traditional menswear codes, while exposed irregular basting stitches  (normally temporary construction threads) are left visible in cream wool, transforming a hidden technique into an avant-garde statement. Finished with engraved Moschino Couture buttons and accompanied by spare buttons, it exemplifies Moschino’s playful irony fused with impeccable craftsmanship.
