So my team and I were thrilled to find this Spring 1980 ad for this same Missoni dress in a different colorway. I actually love our purple version more - the color is richer and really shows off the Missoni talents when it comes to working with a dying knits. It is seriously sexy and form fitting through the bodice and then the skirt swings out dramatically with tons of volume! You just step in and it instantly clings to every curve. I love vibrant design done in hues of purple with stripes in red, pinks, green and yellow. The fabric is actually a linen mix so it is very light and easy to wear and allows the fabric to breathe even if you wear it in a hot climate. It is classic Missoni and very sexy! Excellent condition.
