This 1970s Robert Janan novelty print dress is made from a soft jersey acrylic material in an ultra-long A-line cut. It has a scooped neckline, long sleeves which widen slightly at the cuff, and the maxi length of the skirt helps to elongate the silhouette. The fabric consists of a light grey backdrop with a novelty abstract pattern made up of many shades of grey, arranged in a pattern which resembles strings of beads. This would make a wonderful statement party piece, due to its elegant shape and unusual print. It is in excellent vintage condition; we noted 3 x very tiny, repaired pin holes which are lost in the print and cannot be seen when worn. The dress would best fit a size 8 UK, or 4 US and you need to be statuesque to wear it.
