Calling all textile enthusiasts!  Pieces like these come by rarely so they deserve an extra special shout out. These two jackets we rendered from a vintage Pakistani Swaat Valley shalwar kameez.  We’ve adapted them to a modern western lifestyle while honoring the old world, textile traditions.  The mustard gold hand woven cotton linen base is finished off with exquisite hand embroidery. My knowledge suggests that this is Soof embroidery. The motifs are geometric in shape, which lends Itself to counting the thread weave to apply the pattern. Shades of jade, hot pink, and purple beautifully accent this rich base of mustard gold.look at the photo Showing the hand embroidered detail from the backside of the clock. We made one jacket cropped and the other hip length. Both are size medium with a 42 inch chest. Fully lined.  Side pockets. Button closure.  OOAK
