Description :

Deep blue and pink handwoven sambalpuri cotton ikat saree from the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. The pattern on the saree evolves through a process of dyeing the warp and weft threads prior to inter-weaving. This technique of ikat weaving on a traditional handloom is a beautiful art of poetry on the loom. This saree has small flower designs along with kumbha (kalash or sacred urn) motifs woven on the body in grey, with rudraksha dobby border. The maroon floral ikat motifs on the pallu add to the beauty of this handloom saree. This saree comes with matching blouse piece.
