The merino yarn selected for this piece comes from the Italian manufacturer Zegna Baruffa - Yarn : Y-ER 8000 mohair - 80%WO (19,5 microns) - 20% PA. & Deadstock elastic from the Belgian manufacturer Ceetex and nylon from Colorific Monofil Gmbh - Germany.
The piece was knitted by the studio Celine Breton in Paris.
The material breakdown is 58% WO, 34% PA, 8% EA.

→ INNOVATION & CRAFTSMANSHIP
We wanted to recreate the effect of our signature 'cancan' pieces and give the piece a very fluffy look while also being ultra-stretchy, allowing us to develop this piece in only two sizes. This would allow us to play with the visual effect while maintaining good flexibility in the garment. The challenge remains the thread consumption and the time required. It’s an extremely gathered piece that, when it unfolds, takes up the entire knitting machine. So the surface-to-consumption ratio is very important.

Local short-circuit production using recovered scraps, emphasizing a "produce less, better" approach.

Since the piece is made of more than 50% pure merino wool, sourced from a Woolmark-certified partner, it holds the Woolmark certification: Wool Rich Blend.
Certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 wool.
