This romantic dress was designed by Hannah MacGibbon for Chloé Fall 2010, and may have been part of a capsule collection. It is tailored from off-white or ecru coloured sheer silk chiffon and matte silk and falls to floor length. It has an empire-line cut with wide straps that cross over at the front and rear to form the top of the dress. The front of the dress is tailored from a panel of opaque silk for modesty, and the rear straps are sheer. In true Chloé style, the full skirt comprises layers of frothy fabric that kick out around the wearer as they walk. The skirt is lined with a layer of silk chiffon. At the waist is a decadent rhinestone belt, made more low-key and softened in an oh-so-Chloé way with a layer of sheer chiffon laid atop the rhinestones. The dress fastens under the left arm with a series of hidden snap closures.
