Cellulose Acetate is a type of durable plastic that is made from plant fiber instead of fossil fuels. It's an eco-conscious alternative to traditional plastics and will biodegrade significantly faster.

Cellulose acetate requires special care to maintain its quality. Due to the handcrafted nature of each clip, you may notice slight variations in color and tooth alignment. To help extend the life of your clip, please follow these care guidelines:

• Heat: Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures, as it can cause the prongs to stretch and weaken the grip.
• Water: While Cellulose Acetate itself is waterproof, the metal spring inside the clip can rust if left in a damp environment for too long. Try not to leave the spring wet for more than 30 minutes at a time.
• Stretch: If the prongs become loose due to heat, you can reset the shape by soaking the clip in warm water for 5–10 minutes. Afterward, allow it to cool for 30 minutes before using it again.
