This is one of three tops that my client had made about 15 years ago using a combination of new with antique / vintage fabrics and detailing from various 1920s pieces that were beyond repair or found as fragments. Each is a one off and the only one like it ever made. This one uses a black silk for the base and then has an overlay of a striped silk chiffon fabrics an overlay on the front. The top is cut into an easy to wear classic tank shape that you just slip over the head to wear. Hand applied to the front are found embroidered and metallic thread detailed pieces from the twenties. These run across the front of the top and over the shoulders to the back. They add such beautiful feel to the piece. I love that the edges of the net that surround the additions was left raw for a bit of a deconstructed feel. Her tailor was couture trained and all three of these tops are beautifully made. Excellent condition 

The top is unlined and slips on to wear. It appears to have never been worn or worn very little. The loose and easy cut should allow it to ft a range of sizes. 

Bust-hips: 20" flat across from side seam to side seam and going to 20.5 by the hem
Length: 23" from neck to hem to the inner black hem and 26" tp the bottom of the striped overlay at the front
