This is a very special set from Yves Saint Laurent and it is also very beautiful. It really illustrates his genius in working with fine silks. It is two pieces and each is made of the same custom screened, floral print silk chiffon and everything about it is spectacular. The top can be worn un-tucked so you get a loose caftan feel or tuck it in for more a more shaped effect. The top has a wide panel of fabric that falls from the shoulders and circles all the way around. This same wide ruffled effect is picked up again on the lower tier of the skirt. The entire shoulder is finished with elastic so you can wear it a variety of ways - on or off the shoulder and I have even seen girls style this type of top as a one shoulder as it will totally allow you to get away with it! The skirt flows to the ground in a beautiful cascade of silk and it is cut loose and easy so it very easy to wear. It has a very romantic, hippie chic goddess feel and yet is sophisticated and refined at the same time - classic YSL genius! I love it! Excellent, appears unworn condition.

Both pieces are unlined and slip on. The waist of the skirt and shoulders of the top have elastic. Tagged a 38 but please check measurements. The silk is cut on the bias and meant to drape so the measurements are quite generous when off.
