This beautiful traditional handwoven Sambalpuri ikat cotton saree produced by the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. Sambalpuri sarees are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs. Tie and dye technique used to design the motifs on the saree.This black and red colour handloom saree shows the traditional craftsmanship of 'Bandhakala'. Ikat lines woven like waves on the body with traditional ikat temple motifs woven on the border. Ikat motifs have been woven on the pallu like stripes. Saree comes attached with a red colour blouse piece.
