A terrific 1970s wool and metallic yarn knit jumper by Yves Saint Laurent in a khaki brown tone with accents of black. It almost looks a bit camouflage until you note the fine pastel hued metallic yarn thread woven into the knit. The metallic yarn is used entirely on the cuffs and the trim as well as on the keyhole tie at the neck. It fastens with a drawstring at the bottom to give supreme flexibility on how the look is worn. It is quite long - almost tunic like in length. The label states a size French 38 which equates to a UK 10 or US6. It is in beautiful, barely worn excellent vintage condition with no faults of any note. The wool composition is made up of mohair, wool, acrylic and polyester. This piece also has a collection label which we have left on. We suspect this piece may never have been worn and the condition certainly reflects that. It's such a modern looking jumper it could have been made yesterday! Given that this is quite large and loose in style it will fit a variety of sizes up to a UK 12, or US 8.
