Description :

Sambalpuri ikat silk saree is a traditional handwoven silk saree where the warp and weft threads were first 'tie-dyed' before weaving. It is produced at Sambalpur, Odisha. Maroon and mehendi green colour yarns used to weave this saree. Ikat tribal motifs have been woven carefully on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs on the border by dobby shedding device. Beautiful ikat flower motifs have been woven on the pallu. Saree comes attached with a mehendi green colour matching blouse piece.
