This sensational 1970s lamé paisley print maxi dress in gold, red, lilac and green is labelled Michael Modelle and is in excellent vintage condition. It has an opulent, bohemian aesthetic. The dress has a a gathered round neckline with draw string detail and long bishop style sleeves with gathered cuffs. The bodice is tailored to draw in neatly at the waist, with soft inwards pleating below the neckline and a pretty row of 5 fabric covered buttons at the centre bust. The A-line skirt is gathered below the waistband and falls into soft folds to the floor. The dress is fully lined in oyster toned fabric and has a concealed zip fastening at the centre reverse. This exceptional piece is romantic, feminine and would make an incredible wedding outfit. Would best suit a US size 2-4 / UK size 6-8. Our model (5ft 4in / 163 cm) is a size 6-8 and this fit her well.
