What a beautiful vintage treasure this necklace is!
This necklace is made entirely of art glass beads (that look like lapis lazuli) and brass. The art glass beads are mottled and have little bits of shiny aventurine in them which mimics the pyrite in lapis lazuli. The metal element are an aged brass and include pretty filigree bead caps and a pendant drop with a chain link element. The clasp is a lovely floral fold-over clasp.
This piece is believbed to be Czech and likely from the 20s although it has bit of an Art Nouveau flair. Very nice on!
