Two-piece ensemble from Italian super brand Missoni and from the 1976 s/s collection. It is crafted from a lightweight and soft blend jersey silk, with a bold, almost abstract floral design in shades of green, blue, lilac, peach and burgundy. The skirt is a midi length, flowy piece with a wide waistband, which is lightly elasticated for a comfortable fit. The main skirt portion is pleated all the way around the waist at one-inch intervals, creating an amazing sense of movement.

The long matching jacket can easily be worn as resort wear or an open style dress. There is a burgundy rope tie across the neckline which creates a drawstring effect on the sleeves as the arm holes are open down the waistline. The waist portion is also gathered and ties at the front, making it fully adjustable to suit the wearer. The jacket/dress falls to around calf length.

Both garments are in great vintage condition, with no stains or flaws to note. They are not labelled with specific sizes but due to the overall stretchiness and generous fit, would best suit anywhere from a 10-14 UK or 6-10 US. We note the top would comfortably fit a size bigger. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 33" (84cm), Waist: 26" (66cm), Hips: 34" (86cm) and Height: 5' 7" (170cm) and she's a size UK 6-8, US 2-4. This was roomy on her. We have styled it both with and without the skirt.
