What does EIM Score mean?
The EIM Score stands for Environmental Impact Measurement. With the help of the EIM score, it is possible to make sustainability in the finishing process measurable. A traffic light system (red, yellow, green) shows the consumption of water, energy and chemicals. The evaluation also includes the occupational health and safety of the employees in the score.
At BRAX, we are pursuing the goal of achieving the green and thus best EIM score for 70% of our jeans from January 2021. From January 2022, 100% of the jeans should be finished in an ecologically sustainable way and awarded a green EIM score.
