- Cotton 50s dress in a beautiful lilac and white gingham check

- Short capped sleeves

- Midi length 

- Straight skirt with a flared peplum. You can still see what remains of the      stiffening petticoat under the peplum as pictured. Obviously, this isn’t as effective as it once was

 - Matching mauve band and bow at the waist

- Round neck at the front, V-neck at the back, and fastens at the rear  with a zip

- Kick pleat at the back of the skirt 

- Made in the  USA

- Label is Aldens but it looks to be hand stitched so may have been altered at some point  

- Perfect  for everyday wear, summer outings, and events

- Freshly laundered and ready to wear 

- Very good vintage condition. As per above and as pictured the net underskirt is a little worn and not as effective as it once was. Neat hand stitching  is visible at the hems on close inspection. There are raw seams inside the garment as pictured but they are secure
