Good googly moogly, we sure know how to tie one on here at Serrahna!  This Silk Tie vest is vintage Relove Redux at its finest.  A grand total of 49 ties, spanning the culinary career that began in the 70s of Andrea's ride-or-die cowboy, were lovingly schlepped from northern California to Bhuj, India via Istanbul.  John (aforementioned cowboy) had an award-winning restaurant, The Great Meat & Potato on College Avenue.  He was not only the owner but the celebrated chef as well, wearing a silk tie every day.  Many notable folk feasted at the tables and bar but one of his favorite guests was Maya Angelou.  She came in once a month at lunchtime. She always found a cozy, quiet table and ordered a bottle of Korbel Brut champagne, a cheeseburger and fries.  If only these ties could talk!  They'd have sizzling tales to tell. 

We left the tie tags visible on the interior of the skirt flair.  You'll spy heralded designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Gianni Versace, and Martin Wong, as well as many vintage Italian and art houses.  The making of this garment was a labor of love with each 100% silk tie selected for color story and placement.  It may look like a simple construction but it is quite the opposite giving our expert tailor a fun challenge.  

This piece is a fully functioning vest.  It's got a nice weight to it so it will keep you warm when the nip is in the air.  The natural long bell curve of the ties allows for a ferociously fabulous flair to the skirt. Size M/L with a 2 buttons and wrap tie belt.
