The Ampac Vector sounder is a versatile audible warning device for general-purpose applications, described in Clause 3.22 of Australian Standard AS1670.1 for building occupant warning systems.

This unit replaces the old 205-0077 model.

Externally powered with 2 or 3 wire configuration and designed for simplicity and flexibility, the Vector sounder streamlines installation for any fire safety requirement.

Key Features and Installation Flexibility

The Vector sounder is engineered for maximum adaptability in your system.

• Surface Mounted, the unit can be installed as a sounder base to accept most leading Ampac conventional detectors, or it can be used as a low-profile surface mount sounder when paired with the optional accessory cover plate.
• Building Occupant Warning System tones comply with AS1670.4 for both Alert and Evacuation purposes.
• Multiple Vector sounders may be connected together on the same sounder circuit with synchronisation maintained through use of an on-board timing circuit and negates the need for a third ‘timing control’ wire.
