The great Flemish flower painters understood that a bouquet was never simply a mere gathering of flowers. It was a universe. Every petal placed with intention, every colour chosen to sing against the next, the whole composition vibrating with poetry that stopped you in your tracks. This dress borrows from that magnificent tradition. Navy as deep as a velvet backdrop. Blooms as vivid and abundant as a seventeenth century still life.
