Beautifully patinaed Roman sea glass bottle base is the center piece of this gorgeous Serrahna original creation.  The 3" round  white bronze bezel perfectly holds the lovely concave globe shape and essence of this impressive roman sea glass shard that has been carefully tumbled by the sea. The aquamarine colored glass with the copper and earthen blushed hues remind one of our mother earth.  A lovely faceted aqua chalcedony stone graces one side of the pendant topper, while a cluster of golden grapes is found on the other side.  Bacchus would approve!

Devitrified glass is considered to be Old if not ancient. Minerals from the soil combined with water affect the glass in such a way that a paroma glaze is naturally put upon these old class bottle punts  

The mix of hand-worked sea glass beads in shades of sand, stone and turquoise  complements the verdigris visible in the patinaed pendant.  An Afghan silver dangle charm and a length of earthy olive Indian cotton ribbon are the finishing touches.  So comfortable to wear and helps lighten the necklace.  It's 26" in length plus the 3" pendant for a total length of 29", and adjustable too.
