The saree has a parrot green color with pink border and features a design with parrot motifs, traditional borders, and peacock designs on the pallu, or the long strip of fabric that drapes over the shoulder. "Paithani" sarees are known for their intricate designs and are considered to be one of the finest silk sarees from the Indian state of Maharashtra.
