This carpet was made in a vast area surrounding the city of Hamadan in northwestern Persia. The carpets are characterized by their diverse variation of colors. This carpet is hand-knotted from high-quality wool in Iran. The virgin wool has a natural fat content, which protects the carpet from daily wear and tear and makes it extremely durable. 

The knot density consists of approximately 200.000 knots/m2. The special craftsmanship of these Persian rugs makes them everyday rugs that are particularly strong in their robustness.
