This incredible guitar from Canadian guitar builder Nic Dilisle is the perfect parcel for so many styles of playing and feels insanely comfortable; like you’ve been playing it for ages right out of its custom form-fit HSC.
Nic’s work has been featured everywhere from Premier Guitar to the Fret Board Journal. This model features a smaller Teisco-like body shape and an incredible hand carved quarter-sawn roasted maple neck for maximum resonance.
The pickups by MOJO Pickups UK are perfect for this instrument in every way. The neck pickup is a Foil-Sonic, a mash up of two of the greatest classic single-coil pickup designs of all time, a Gold-Foil and a Burns Tri-Sonic. It sounds crystalline and rounded when clean but can get nasty with some gain. The Tele bridge pickup has been perfectly wound and has Tele-Twang in spades; though it never sounds harsh. Part of the guitar sounding so magnificent, is the propriety Island Top-Loading Bridge made from Air-Craft Aluminum and featuring brass saddles. This guitar is light-weight and just rings forever.
