Rare to find, this French oak artist's studio easel features a double crank mechanism allowing for the height to be adjustable as well as forward pitch. This facilitates ease of access to the upper area of the canvas and assists with perspective. It has an extendable notched catch at the top that holds the canvas in place. Brass ring to handle and stamped back plate to handle and upper height adjuster. The easel foot rests on four casters.

This sturdy easel would also make a wonderful stand for a flat screen television !
